I tighten every time

I drive across,

            I feel the poor ghosts

haunting the girders

 

 

People say “I can’t imagine”

but I can: step off and nothing holds

            acceleration through the green blur

                        slam into the muddy Little Miami

                                    water breaks you

                                                stones and mud imprint in
